Meet Ecclesicon’s Mascot

Steve the Dragon was created to “encourage” folks to sign up for Ecclesicon’s predecessor events, “One Shot Day.” His current appearance is a commissioned art piece by the excellent Gabe Fua.

While Steve wants to be helpful he is a dragon, which makes having empathy a bit of a challenge. In his mind people really should be grateful that he’s promising to not eat them if they come to any event he promotes. This creates problems in the mythical HR department which helps keep Ecclesicon’s staff on track.

The point is keep the dragon happy.

Cell 1: Send me your geeks, your nerds, your actors yearning to be in a story.

Cell 2: Have them buy badges to Ecclesicon where they may feel free.

Cell 3: Or I will eat you.

Caption: Steve ate the HR department over “creative differences.”
