Brewery Thirty-Three outdoor seating out. Several picnic tables on wood chips, surrounded by a white fence.

Come on out Sunday, August 24th, from 5-8 PM for another Open Adventure day at Brewery Thirty-Three in Riverton, NJ! Grab a pint, have a pizza delivered, and roll funny dice!

We’ve got two tables ready to go. Tables are “First come, first play” so arrive early to make sure you get a seat!

Vaesen

In dark forests, beyond the mountains, by black lakes in hidden groves. At your doorstep. In the shadows, something stirs. Strange beings. Twisted creatures, lurking at the edge of vision. Watching. Waiting. Unseen by most, but not by you. You see them for what they really are. Vaesen.

Welcome to the Mythic North – northern Europe of the nineteenth century, but not as we know it today. A land where the myths are real. A cold reach covered by vast forests, its few cities lonely beacons of industry and enlightenment – a new civilization dawning. But in the countryside, the old ways still hold sway. There, people know what lurks in the dark.

They know to fear it. (Taken from Free League’s Web Site)

Monty Python’s Cocurricular Medieval Reenactment Programme

This is not a game, thank you very much. It is, rather, a serious educational programme for educating serious students of history.

During this Reenactment you will…

not roll extra funny dice, you will execute mathematical formulas using highly technical manipulatives.

not role-play silly characters treating serious situations as laugh-fests. You will player serious characters while reenacting serious events in actual history. We can’t help it if people in the historical situations reenacted were all silly.

not have fun by interacting with several personas from a pool of 18 Heads of Light Entertainment (or HoLE). Treat Ralph the Wonder Llama well, or you may find yourself given demerits! As we said, this is SERIOUS!
